Culturecom has published Hong Kong manhua for over fifty years: Dragon Tiger Gate, Chinese Hero and 200+ titles. CMEL (Culturecom Media & Entertainment) is the sole rights holder for multimedia adaptations of that catalogue, and places these worlds with creatives who share our ambition for them. Pick a mandate below; every partnership starts with one conversation.

Film & television

We license Hong Kong manhua characters and worlds for live-action film and television: adaptation rights, remakes and co-development. These stories have been on screens since 1984, when Drunken Master aired on ATV. A licence can cover one character or a whole world, scoped by territory, term and media, and the original published art comes with it for reference.
